Agenda

Description
What is the major shock absorbing mechanism of the joint? Does running cause osteoarthritis? Is exercise good or bad for knee pain when a person has severe asymmetry? Learn the answers to these questions through discussion with Dana Logan and Dr. Carole Lewis and by watching these seasoned therapists work with patients. The Essential Knee provides a synopsis of current research, examines myths and facts about knee osteoarthritis, and prepares you to develop evaluation and treatment techniques that are evidence based. The most important impairments are examined and standardized functional tools are demonstrated in a clinical setting.
