Plyometrics are quick, short exercises that require muscles to exert a maximal force in order to increase power. This course will educate the participant regarding the scientific concepts of plyometrics and will address the criteria to initiate plyometrics in both operative and non-operative patients. Plyometric specific objective measures will be discussed as well as the progressions of plyometrics through the physiological and rehabilitative continuum.
