Previous research has identified that telehealth is effective and comparable to face-to-face practice for a variety of conditions. However, this effectiveness requires that clinicians are able to proficiently deploy telehealth services. For many clinicians, the COVID-19 pandemic is providing the first opportunity to use telehealth as a service delivery mechanism. In the absence of clear guidance for the implementation of telehealth into clinical practice, the purpose of this webinar is to discuss the practical implementation of telehealth into rehabilitation practice. We will discuss regulatory factors to consider prior to initiating telehealth services, emphasize key concerns for practice, and offer suggestions for performing a digital examination.
