Description
Sandy L. Burkart PT, OCS, PhD will provide each practitioner with an understanding of the functional, biomechanical, radiographic, pathological, and diagnostic anatomy of the cervical spine, shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand as it relates to orthopedic dysfunction and rehabilitation. The workshop will provide each practitioner with neuromotor control elements of human posture and function as it relates to the evaluation and rehabilitation of upper extremity orthopedic dysfunction. Clinical strategies for rehabilitation integrating manual therapy with neuromotor strategies to modulate pain, increase ROM, increase strength, and improve function will be presented and demonstrated.
