William Finley, MS, OTR/L, CSCS, CHT, is a registered and licensed occupational therapist, certified strength and conditioning specialist, and certified hand therapist. He is Faculty at New York University Medical Center, the Senior Clinical Instructor at RUSK Rehabilitation's Center for Musculoskeletal Care and specializes in the evaluation and treatment of upper extremity disorders in orthopedics, rheumatology and sports medicine. William has experience in acute care and outpatient occupational therapy. In addition to specialized clinical practice, he is a Certified Physical Agents Modalities Practitioner (CPAM), Certified ASTYM Practitioner, Graston Technique Provider, Certified Kinesio–taping Practitioner (CKTP), Certified Field Work Educator, and certified with the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). William has presented at the American Occupational Therapy Association National Conference and Expo in 2010, 2012, 2015, 2016 and has been invited to speak in 2017. He was featured on Sirius XM Doctors Radio discussing current concepts in non-operative rehabilitation of the upper extremity. William is currently on research teams investigating edema reduction techniques in post–operative rehabilitation, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization techniques for conservative treatment of repetitive strain injuries and the biomechanics of golfers with post-operative shoulders. He will be published as the lead author in the American Journal of Occupational Therapy (AJOT) in 2017 (Volume 72, Issue 3), reporting on non-operative shoulder rehabilitation. William has provided continuing education to various health care professionals throughout the United States and is currently completing an M.B.A. with a Specialization in Healthcare Administration and Management.
