Ensuring appropriate, efficient, effective, and quality care is now a regulated branch of medical practice. This CEU course explores the types of medical errors, the systematic approach of a root cause analysis, disclosure of an error to the patient, strategies to reduce the risk of medical errors, and the reporting of medical errors to the appropriate agencies.
