Objectives
Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:
1) Correctly identify pertinent anatomical landmarks essential for appropriate cardiorespiratory examination and intervention
2) Accurately predict neuromuscular, integumentary and musculoskeletal pathologies that lead to cardiopulmonary dysfunction
3) Understand the impact of the airway, ventilatory and circulatory systems on functional impairment
4) Be competent on examination of the airway, ventilatory and circulatory systems of a client
5) Classify and correctly match gait impairments found on examination to appropriate evidence-based interventions

Cardiorespiratory dysfunction can interfere with the optimization of client functional goal attainment. The purpose of this course is to provide clinicians with evidence-based tools for examination and intervention of the patient with cardiorespiratory dysfunction.
