This 2 day course is designed for the therapist who treats pediatric clients with neurological deficits including cerebral palsy, TBI, and developmental coordination disorder. Using NDT with contemporary applications, this course will include information that will enhance your evidence-based practice by applying most the current philosophy and principles of NDT in working with children with neuromotor impairments. Participants will improve their observational skills of posture and movement and will learn how it relates to limitations in participation and function. Labs will consist of participants working together with partners in learning different facilitation techniques and treatment progression. This course is lab focused, therefore it is recommended that participants bring layered clothing to allow freedom of movement and also allow partners to view and handle trunk and extremities.
