CANCELLATION POLICY: Tuition is refundable minus $50.00 processing fee if canceled at least 14 days prior to the workshop. No refund thereafter, however you may attend the workshop at another location or allow someone to attend in your place. The Back School of Atlanta cannot be responsible for any expenses incurred should it become necessary to cancel a workshop.
Attire Business casual on 1st and 3rd day. On second day, dress appropriately for an industrial worksite, including steel-toed shoes, if you have them. Otherwise, the shoes and other PPE will be provided.

We will visit one industrial location and one computerized office environment to experience the practical aspects of Ergonomic Jobsite Assessment and learn how to recommend cost-effective job modifications and hazard prevention controls.
DAY ONE - A.M. ¨ Introduction and Review of OSHA's Ergonomics Standard. ¨ Jobsite Evaluation Forms for Industrial Jobs and Office (Computer Station Jobs). ¨ Product Review for Cost-Effective Job Modifications and Hazard Prevention Controls. DAY ONE - P.M. ¨ Visit One Computerized Office Environment where Employees Perform Desk Jobs. ¨ You will Analyze and Videotape Jobs. DAY TWO - A.M. and P.M. ¨ Visit Heavy Industrial Site for a Day of Record Review and Jobsite and Task Analysis. DAY THREE - A.M. ¨ Review and Discussion of Day One and Day Two Jobsite Analysis and Discussion of Development and Written "Final" Reports Back to the Company.

Over a course of 2-1/2 days, we will visit both an industrial and an office environment and experience the practical aspects of ergonomics jobsite assessment. Learn how to identify potential hazards, recommend cost effective jobsite modifications and hazard prevention controls, compile OSHA-compliant reports, and educate management on the cost benefits of an ergonomically sound workplace. About Certification: This workshop certifies that the participant/attendee is able to perform office and industrial/manufacturing ergonomics analyses using the OSHA Ergonomics Guidelines. At the completion of this workshop with the submission of two jobsite analysis reports, you will be given your certification as a Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist (CEASTM).
