Description

Patients with referred symptoms from the lumbar spine can demonstrate considerable variability in clinical presentation and be a challenge to treat. This course will review examination procedures to identify prognostic considerations as well as best approaches to treatment. Specific sequenced treatment concepts will be presented in a practical manner using decision making algorithms. Finally, self-care and recommended home exercises will be provided in order to assist the clinician in facilitating patient self-care. Upon conclusion of this course participants will have a solid idea of how to interpret examination findings, identify specific treatment ideas and understand how to facilitate home carry over for the patient.
