Description
This eight-hour course prepares the health care professional with valuable information for meeting the fastest growing patient population in health care today; “Bariatrics” as a unique patient population requiring unique intervention. Present transfer & mobility challenges for those who are obese and functionally impaired while demonstrating a systematic method of progression and introduction of the “Lift Free Zone”. This provides participants the basis for establishing a “Paper Trail” for their facilities in meeting the new Federal Safe Patient Handling Standards.
