During this two day course you will be taught movements beneficial for a wide range of groups and at the conclusion of the course will be able to:
Recognize the value of standing postural assessment and its relevance to movement function
Distinguish the key aspects to the fascial chains of the body and how they link to upright standing and functional movement patterns
Apply a series of exercises in standing, on and off balance pads,
Create a complete standing based exercise program to enhance balance, strength, posture and control.

Course Overview
3D Standing Pilates is an evolutionary method which advances the essential Pilates principles into more functional upright positions. This two day course introduces a theoretical 3D Standing Pilates model and teaches a series of 3D Standing Pilates movements to address balance, ROM, myofascial control and neural dynamics in standing.
Course Content
This 3D standing Pilates course is an essential tool in the rehabilitation professionals practice kit and provides a unique standing exercise program that looks into the fascial lines and their link to optimal movement. Standing based exercise is essential for bone health, balance, strength and functional movement patterning.
This course combines Pilates, yoga, anatomy trains and gyrotonics to create a series of movements lead to a challenging, yet achievable standing exercise program for people of all ages.
In order to attend this course you must have completed APPI Matwork Level One or a 2 day Pilates Matwork course with a recognised Pilates training provider.
