Many students are struggling to learn in traditional classroom settings. How can we help when traditional teaching methods, regular PT, OT, Speech and behavior plans do not produce the desired results? Current research has increased our understanding of learning disabilities, attention challenges, anxiety and behavioral disorders. This session will highlight physical and environmental strategies that can ‘make it or break it’ for many students. This workshop will discuss how to share this information with school staff, and create the ‘buy in’, to provide the needed interventions on a regular basis that will create permanent changes for students.
