At the conclusion of this course the participant will be able to:
Demonstrate knowledge of the anatomy and purpose of the fascial system in relation to the concept of Yoga Therapy.
Get a deeper understanding of the myofascial system, its importance for the body, and how myofascial restrictions or trigger points get lodged in the body over time.
Learn how myofascial release helps the body distribute information more easily, ridding us of the blocks in energy, which create pain and dysfunction on all levels, mentally, emotionally and physically.
Identify seven Anatomy Trains in the body and therapeutic asanas for the release of each Anatomy Train.
List four life stressors that impact the fascial system.
Identify six techniques for a program that integrates yoga and myofascial release to enhance therapeutic benefits.
Learn how healing can be facilitated through myofascial release, and learn new techniques to incorporate in your treatment plan and integrate myofascial release using therapeutic yoga postures.
Identify and implement the components for an integrative therapy session.
Discover how to integrate myofascial unwinding and direct myofascial release techniques using a foam roller and other props.
Demonstrate knowledge of the seven steps of Yoga Nidra and its application in relaxation training.

"Myofascial Yoga: Creating Resonance and Release" is a Seminar-On-Demand offered in cooperation with Chrys Kub, PT, ERYT500. The vidoe course is designed to inform the clinician about the principles of fascia, mechanics of Myofascial release and Anatomy Trains. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the myofascial system, its importance for the body, and how myofascial restrictions or trigger points get lodged in the body over time. Through this course, the clinician will learn how to integrate the knowledge of Myofascial release, Myofascial unwinding and Anatomy Trains into a therapeutic yoga practice to address common muscle imbalances.
