Description
This course addresses why music, language and learning complement one another. It discusses how we tap into more potential for learning and retention when we engage both hemispheres of the brain and incorporate multiple senses in a learning activity. The course also demonstrates how to use music as a tool to address articulation and phonology, listening skills such as auditory processing and discrimination, as well as language skills including semantics, syntax, and pragmatics. Lastly, it provides tips on writing children's songs to address various target areas.
