The Back School of Atlanta's online, interactive training course is a cost effective, easy-to-use tool that allows you to learn at your own pace and take at your leisure.
This intermediate course (16 contact hours/1.6 CEU's) is specifically designed to provide skills necessary for the medical or safety practitioner to compete professionally as an industrial ergonomics consultant.
Designed by Miriam Joffe, PT, CPE and David C. Alexander, PE, CPE, the course will teach participants to recognize, analyze, and recommend cost-effective ergonomics changes to the workplace, machines, hand tools, and work methods. They will also understand what drives customers to request professional ergonomics services.
This is not an introductory course. Prior ergonomics course completion (such as our Musculoskeletal Disorders & Ergonomics Certification workshop) or experience in ergonomics assessments is recommended.
The time frame for completing the online course is 90 days for each participant.
