Objectives
Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to: 1) Palpatate and contract the transverse abdominis, multifidus, and pelvic floor muscles, and integrate them into a core-strengthening program. 2) Describe the indications, contraindications and precautions for dynamic stabilization equipment. 3) Perform dynamic stabilization exercises using the Swiss ball, foam rollers and resistive bands. 4) Ascertain how to attain and maintain a neutral spine position while performing exercises. 5) Use basic mobilization and myofascial release techniques on the Swiss ball and foam rollers. 6) Promote your program to new consumer markets, referral sources and the media.

This is a 16-hour course equivalent to 1.6 CEUs. This course is a lab-intensive seminar. Motivations, Inc. is an approved CEU provider by AOTA and BOC. This course is approved by SCAPTA and physical therapy boards or APTA chapters in the states where the course is held.
Attendees need to bring: an exercise ball, exercise band and foam rollers.

The focus of Caroline Creager's Dynamic Stabilization seminar is to teach the practitioner how to integrate the Swiss ball, foam rollers, and resistive bands into an effective core-strengthening program. You will learn how to further enhance your evaluation and treatment skills using dynamic movement and progress your client from a clinical program to a home, gym or office regimen.
