Objectives
*Identify the anatomical areas susceptible to injuries and differentiate the causes, signs and symptoms of MSDs. *Learn the elements and application of an OSHA ergonomics jobsite analysis form. *Identify and implement correct methods for controlling risk factors. *Demonstrate and practice prevention strategies. *Explain successful marketing techniques for ergonomics programs. *Practice ergonomics problem solving.

PTs, PTAs, OTs, OTAs, ATC, RNs, IH, Risk Managers, and other Occupational Health and Safety Professionals.

Locations/Accommodations: Most workshops are held at a local medical facility. We do not block hotel rooms. A list of nearby hotels and directions to the facility will be provided with your confirmation.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Tuition is refundable minus $50.00 processing fee if canceled at least 14 days prior to the workshop. No refund thereafter, however you may attend the workshop at another location or allow someone to attend in your place. The Back School of Atlanta cannot be responsible for any expenses incurred should it become necessary to cancel a workshop.

Description
Our training will teach you how to perform an OSHA-compliant ergonomics analysis applicable in the industrial, healthcare, and office workplace. In our basic occupational ergonomics workshop, you will learn to identify potential hazards that contribute to the development of musculoskeletal disorders. Using best practices, our method instructs implementation of cost-effective, high-impact solutions for prevention of workplace injury. By developing effective tools to market your ergonomics services, you can become a strategic partner with current and prospective internal and external customers in delivering practical solutions for risk reduction and increased employee productivity. At the completion of this workshop, you will have earned your designation as a Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist (CEASTM) and receive 1.5 CEUs (in most states). Those seeking additional in-depth ergonomics evaluation tools and their CEAS IITM designation, are encouraged to enroll in the CEAS II: Aging Workforce Ergonomics Solutions Certification Workshop.
